Build the habit, instead of focusing on the outcome
Work on the bare minimum so the habit sticks. On average habits become automatic after 66 days. Doing it consistently is the focus at the beginning. Then once you always do it, you can start to ramp up the difficulty.
Kanye says how he got to where he is on the song Spaceships,
” Lock yourself in a room doing five beats a day for three summers”
It’s not how well you do, it’s how many times you can get feedback to improve the next one
