Nagle Notes: Vocabulary

Hello friends,

I’m reading through a new book (should be a new blog post about it soon) and I found myself circling almost a word a page. I would circle words I had not seen before or phrases that really piqued my interest in how the author was describing a situation.

Here are some examples:

·        Sordid

·        Jowl

·        Ablation

·        Blithe

·        Unrepentant selfishness

We can learn a lot from others and with books we can expand our vocabulary in a way that also is fun and engaging. Find something different and try to learn from them. The biggest takeaway may not be the specific message but the style of delivery.

Onwards,

Nagle
