Nagle Notes: Smells

Hello friends,

One thing I learned this week is what the smell of rain is. Rain shouldn't have a smell since it's only water so why do people say they like the smell of rain? That smell is oils from plants that is released to cover leaves when there hasn't been much rain lately. When it does rain, the oils get washed off and diffuses into the air, giving that signature "rain smell".

Just another reason to always ask questions.

Onwards,
Nagle
