Nagle Notes: The Wagon

Hello people of the future,

If you don't drink for awhile, but then you start again how do you say it?
This bit from Seinfeld tackles this conundrum.

Time for some idiom history (one of my favorite uses of Wikipedia and the internet). It's origin "on the water-wagon" so if you're on it, you are sober and if you're off, you've gone back to drinking.

Speaking properly (like using literary devices) can help you in delivering your message without as much confusion. Having common starting points is how we can effectively transfer information.

Onwards,
Nagle
